Summer Bash 2019 (June 21 thru 23, 2019)

The party was a blast! This was the best party we have had in a while! The weather was great, we had a variety of vendors (although half of them were a no-show) and we had a lot of people come through the gate! The crew started rolling in on Friday afternoon and they just kept on coming! We had visitors from quite a few chapters throughout the state, friends from Virginia and even Florida! Pete's PeteZa and Pearl on Main provided the food. The band "Alan's Project" was jammin' Friday night and everyone had a great first night at the Bash!

Saturday started off with a few of us having breakfast shots at the Mid-Shore Chapter Saloon while others were out on a scenic ride led by Mid-Shore member Steve Mitchell (thanks Steve!). The bike show got going and we had three winners voted on by the people. Hays Custom Imprints made some fantastic laser engraved mugs for trophies (thank Paul!).On to the motorcycle rodeo! We mixed it up this year, added a few new events and continued a few old ones. Jeff & Robert Kinnamon tried their best to look like sisters! In the end, we wrapped it up with motorcycle jousting put on by the Carroll County gang. With that over and the weather heating up, the beer and the bar were pretty popular! With the increased attendance this year and a rather thirsty crowd, we had trouble keeping up with the demand but we still managed to have a few lonely cans of beer left over at the end! (We will plan a little better next year). We even had some Big Kid Games (thanks Jimmie and Marjie!). We wrapped up saturday afternoon with a cornhole tournament and Alan Cheezum played acoustic guitar and sang while our Saturday night band was setting up.

Saturday night, Fuzzbox Piranha, rocked the main pavilion, the beer was flowing and bar was hoppin'. We raffled off two coolers of cheer and a toy trike along with a 50/50.

All weekend, Marianne & friends sold chapter products and Shelli sold state products and raffle bike tickets. The vendors seemed to have a good event. Johnny Knox provided some music in between the happenings and we even had an ice cream truck or two wander in and out. We had a lot of help from a lot of people to pull off a fantastic party! Many thanks to all that pitched in and worked the gate, manned the beer table, helped with the bar, sold products / raffle tickets / 50-50's, worked the motorcycle rodeo/events, moved tables, cleaned up, took out the trash, etc. It takes a lot to put on this event and you all shined through til the end!

Spring Into Gear Dart Run (May 19, 2019)

Spring Into Gear was a great event ..... again! We had over 30 bikes register. We had some visitors from Calvert County, Anne Arundel County and throughout DelMarVa! Steve took us on the RoFo tour through Talbot, Caroline, Kent County Delaware, back through Caroline and into Queen Anne's before heading back to his house for a good old fashioned backyard party! Mamakat & Johnny Blake won farthest distance ridden to get there, Norm Swan and Eddie James tied for highest score and a gentleman from Legion Riders out of Harrington DE won lowest score! There was plenty of food and drink to go around (thanks Lauren & Steve) and Marianne was there selling t-shirts, hats, koozies, etc.

Toy Run 2018! (December 9, 2018

Well, we did it again! Another cold day to ride for the Toy Run!  It is amazing to see the fantastic support we seem to get every year from our biker family! This year we split the run, starting at WaWa in Easton with the sleigh blocking traffic, stopping 1st at Widows of Warriors and then on to First Church of God in Federalsburg. A few of us went back to Easton and stopped at Applebee's for some food, drink & a little warm up before we all headed home.

Christmas Party 2018! (December 7, 2018

The VFW let us use the pool table room again & we brought some snacks, deserts and our dancin' shoes. We enjoyed the tunes of 3rd Rail, had a raffle for a small HD inspired childs trike, and generally had a great time. Many thanks to all those that came out and celebrated with us!

Summer Bash 2018! (June 22-24th 2018)

Alrighty then! We had a party to remember! This year we made a change and decided to move the Labor Day Weekend Party to June and call it Summer Bash. We had a blast! Ole Mother Nature rained on us on Friday & scared a few people away. However, in true Mid-Shore fashion, we partied on! Friday night Lime Green Band came in and rocked the house! We had a building full of vendors, three food vendors and the beer trucks were flowing! We even tried a small bar. Saturday morning came around and we managed to get better weather. The scenic ride went on, we had the bike show, field events, tattoo artist Matty Tull was slinging ink, motorcycle jousting, silly biker games, bobbing for miniatures, a corn-hole tournament, more vendors, an ice cream truck and a few more people came in the gate, spending money! We continued into the evening with Twisted Fate playing some fanstastic tunes, raffled off a cooler of cheer, a basket of cheer and a dinner for two including drinks at Carpenter Street Saloon in St. Michaels (thank you Johnny Mautz) and  rounded out a great party. If you missed it, you missed out on a great time! Mark your calendars for June 2019 cause it looks like we are going to do it again next year!

Spring Into Gear 2018! (May 20, 2018)

Well, the rain tried really hard to dampen our spirits. We had to delay a day to Sunday. However, we had a great ride as always. Steve planned a great route and had a fantastic party at the end. Our Chapter T-Shirts came in in time for the ride and we sold quite a few of them!   Many thanks to all that attended. Congrats to the winners of the biker bingo!

Cabin Fever Party 2018! (March 10, 2018)

We thought it was time to bring back the Cabin Fever party! Jeff Kinnamon opened up his garage to us and we continued the tradition! Great food, an awesome game of liars dice, a huge bonfire and plenty of good times. Mid-Shore likes to get together even when we can't get much riding in! Thanks Jeff for the hospitality and thanks to all the members and friends that showed up, brought food, drink and made this another awesome event.
